Scabiosa (Scabiosa atropurpurea) – Airy pincushion blooms in mauve and plum tones. Annual.

How to Grow
When to Plant:
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost or sow directly outdoors after frost danger has passed.
Where to Plant:
Full sun (6+ hours). Fertile, well-drained soil promotes strong stems and vivid color.

Celosia – Sow on soil surface; requires light for germination. 7–10 days at 70–75°F. Space 10–12".
Sweet William – Sow ⅛" deep; light cover only. 10–14 days at 65°F. Space 6–8".
Strawflower – Sow on surface; requires light for germination. 7–14 days at 70°F. Space 10–12".
Chocolate Lace Flower (Dara) – Sow ¼" deep; prefers darkness. 14–21 days at 65°F. Space 9–12".
